I'm not a doctor, not yet a GP

Sung to the tune of Britney Spear's: I'm not a girl, Not yet a woman

I used to think
I had the answers to everything
But now I know
Life doesn't always
Go my way, yeah...

Feels like I'm caught in the middle
That's when I realize...

(Chorus)
I'm not a doctor
Not yet a GP
All I need is time
A moment that is mine
While I'm in between

(Verse 2)
I'm not a doctor
There is no need to protect me
Its time that I
Learn to face up to this on my own
I've seen so much more than u know now
So tell me to shut my eyes

I'm not a doctor
Not yet a GP
All I need is time
A moment that is mine
While I'm in between

I'm not a doctor
But if u look at me closely
You will see it my eyes
This novice will always find
a way

I'm not a doctor
(I'm not a doctor don't tell me what to believe)
Not Yet a GP
(I'm just tryin to find the GP in me, yeah)
All I need is time (All I need)
A moment that is mine (That is mine)
While I'm in between

I'm not a doctor
Not yet a GP
All I need is time (is All I need)
A moment that is mine
While I'm in between

I'm not a doctor
Not yet a GP

But guys, it's true.

I'm not a doctor, not yet a GP!

Australia rejected me. I'm not a GP!

I'm also not a doctor (by my own definition).

It's ok lah. The trick to becoming contented and have inner peace is to accept the facts. Go with the flow. Adapt.

That's what I'm trying to do. I guess I'm lucky in the sense I don't have much of an ego.

It's no use telling a guy he is a whiner or loser when he himself thinks much worse of himself already.

I think the only things that could really hurt me is if something happened to my wife or kids.

Cheers!

OOoo, I can tell someone is missing karaoke!
Oz, when I get back home sometime, let's go karaoke-with UB! -that's after stingray and heineken ;)

I do think that you need some time out for yourself too.Even if it's just a couple of hours. If you don't mind me asking, do you have a social life at all?

I believe striving everything in balance. If I'm married with family, I'll be expecting myself to spend some quality time with my parents, friends and myself too. Sounds easy peasy? One will never know until you try....

I do spend time with family lah.

Lately we've been shopping around for all those courses for kids.

Just enrolled my kids with Growing paints http://www.growing-paints.com.sg/

They had their first lessons last night and they really had a good time.

We had a roller blading lesson for the whole family last weekend and we're signing the kids up for 1 month of lessons end of the month. They loved it too.

Not much of my own life lah.

But it's ok I live for my children.
