Kids of young mums more likely to reach 100

On today's Straits Times front page, there was this headline "Kids of young mums more likely to reach 100"

According to research, the chances of living to the ripe old age of 100 - and beyond - nearly double for a child born to a woman before her 25th birthday.

Why this is so requires further study.

Interestingly, in TCM we learn that the Essence or Jing is inherited from the parents. The older you get, the more you lose your Essence.

Old people are usually advised to try and replenish their essence if they want to live longer.

Children born to older parents tend to have more medical problems because they might have a lower amount of Essence.

Coincidence?
